One Plus Technology Co., Ltd., commonly referred to as OnePlus, is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer based in Shenzhen, Guangdong. OnePlus is investing Rs 1,000 crore in India (this includes a brand new R&D centre in Hyderabad) in the next 3 years. Lenovo is looking to increase its India revenues by around 16-20% in the current fiscal .Lenovo India has 21-22% share in the enterprise segment and 19-20% each in the consumer and small and medium business (SMB) segments .Lenovo is looking to invest $1.2 billion in artificial intelligence (AI) R&D in the country. This investment will also be used to include data centre offerings to its Chennai facility, which manufactures around 5 billion smartphones annually

Gionee was a Chinese smartphone manufacturer based in Shenzhen, Guangdong. Founded in 2002, it was one of China’s largest mobile phone. Gionee plans to invest around Rs 650 crore this year as it looks to be among the top five smartphone brands in the country. Gionee had last year spent Rs 500 crore in marketing. An increase of 30 per cent would translate to around Rs 650 crore.

Zopo Mobile is the commonly used name of Shenzhen Zopo Communications-equipment Limited Company, a Mobile Smartphone maker headquartered in Shenzhen, China.Zopo plans to set up its manufacturing plant in India by the end of this year with an initial investment of about Rs 100 crore as it is aiming to produce 2 lakh handsets per month.

A recent trend where Indians are destroying pre-owned Chinese Product is seen, however this would not impact the rising share of Chinese product in the Indian market. To ensure a relevant impact, we need to put an end to buying and selling of all China made electronics and support our economy by redistributing this capital to India based products.
